Administration
The Administration Division is comprised of the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Field Operations, the Deputy Chief of Special Operations, and the Administrative Captain. The Deputy Chief for Field Operations is responsible for the Patrol Division, The Criminal Investigation Division , and the Bomb Squad. The Deputy Chief of Special Operations is responsible for the Communications Division , the Crime Prevention Unit, the Training Unit , the Support Services Unit, the Crowd Control Team and the Special Response Team (SRT). The Administrative Captain manages the Records area as well as the Computer Support unit.
The safety and security of all members of the campus community—which includes the students, faculty, and staff of the university as well as the numerous visitors to the campus—is the primary concern of the Police Department. The members of the Administration Division work closely as a management team to ensure that this concern is reflected in all our Department’s efforts.
Maintaining a safe environment is the responsibility of the entire University community.
